Happy Birthday Laura!
Saturday, December 15, was Laura’s 10th birthday, which she celebrated in style. We have had great fun with Laura over these 10 years and we’re thankful for her belated but welcome arrival in our family! Friday evening she had three friends over for dinner out at one of her favorite restaurants, Bennigans, followed by a slumber party and swimming the next day. Here she and her friends Elle, Michelle and Daniela, are about to enjoy the two-layer chocolate chip cake and ice cream.
After a morning of swimming and watching the Three Stooges, they had Christmas cantata practice, then went home to change and go to church for the annual Snow in Panama celebration. A local man hires a container full of blocks of ice, which are put through a crushing machine and sprayed out of large hoses over a portion of the church parking lot.
